New Venue For Vertical Rush Training Sessions

Posted: February 19, 2015 in Uncategorized

We have a new venue for our Vertical Rush training sessions. Hampstead tube station has served us well, but its wide, spirally stairs are slightly cumbersome and don’t replicate real courses accurately enough.

Our new venue is a central London hotel that has 360 stairs, which are left turning. The stairs at Tower 42, which is the venue for Vertical Rush, is also a left turning stairwell so its great for practicing landing turns. Smooth landing turns will take a big chunk off your finish time at Vertical Rush.

Vertical Rush is about two weeks away now, leaving just enough time for about 5 or 6 really solid training sessions before it’s time to start easing off and getting ready.

If you would like to come along to the free sessions, please get in touch on Twitter @towerrunninguk or email: training@towerrunninguk.com and we will provide the location, day and time. Along with specific workouts and timed climbs we will also offer tips on climbing techniques.
