Mencap Stair Climb This Sunday

It seems we’ve been a bit slow out of the blocks already this year and have annoyingly missed the announcement of a new London stair climb being held by the charity Mencap, which raises awareness for, and offers support to, those with learning disabilities.

It’s taking place at 20 Fenchurch Street, aka the ‘Walkie Talkie’ building, on Sunday 8 March. Unfortunately the event is sold out now, but it looks like it will be a great one. Along with the solo climb up the 36 floors of the walkie talkie, there is a three tower challenge, which will see participants climb towers in Victoria, Strand and then Fenchurch St, having to run from one to the next.

If, like us, you want to feed your jealousy and maybe get excited for next year you can get more details on the Mencap website here.

Good luck if you’re taking part.
